I’ve recently invested in a new, small camera to take on my travels when my DSLR is simply impractical. Today was the first time I’ve taken it out for a test run – to get used to the new controls and see how it fares compared to the DSLR. Our destination: the Secret Herb Garden. Its intriguing name and the promise of a cafe with good cake had put this place on my mental ‘To Visit’ list. It seemed like a good choice for a Sunday outing and we weren’t disappointed by either the cake (eaten before it could be photographed!) or the photos. We just need to go back in the summer to see the gardens at their best (and to sample more cake!)
