After enjoying our trip to the Outer Hebrides last year, we decided to select another Scottish Island to visit this summer. After investigating our options, we chose the Isle of Mull for a four night trip. Getting some fresh air and taking a batch of good photographs were my two top priorities; the trip did not disappoint.

I don’t think many photographers could resist stopping to get some photos of these captivating forms. They lie abandoned near the village of Salen, on the main route from Craignure (where one of the ferry ports is located) to Tobermory.
