I’ve been meaning to try tilt-shift for a while but this week, after seeing someone else’s cool tilt-shift photo, I had renewed determination to give it a go.  I wasn’t sure how you really got the effect but www.tiltshiftphotography.net have a really easy to follow tutorial for Photoshop.

I’m pretty happy with my first attempts:
